Rob was born in Greenford, England, a suburb of London, but now
lives with his wife and borer collie in Walditch, Dorset. Walditch
is close to the sea and the beautiful countryside has prompted
many artists to call this area home.
Rob started panting at about the age of sixteen. His early paintings were in oil and greatly influenced by the French impressionists. Initially he tried to paint very formally, but in time developed a very loose, quick, impressionistic was of painting in watercolors.
In 1998 he was accepted for the Royal Academy of Art summer exhibition in England and has exhibited at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery in London. He has also won prices in local art shows in Berkshire. Many of his recent works have been painted in Greece, Turkey and Mexico.
